Most meaningful contribution as a volunteer:
Organizing the Trainee Interest Group Mentorship Series webinar on Ethics in human milk research, which was attended by over 80 participants from across the world. The panelists of this webinar discussed some extremely difficult topics, which are extremely important for trainees to be exposed to and learn about as they embark through their own career. 

Why do you volunteer at ISRHML:
To be apart of an international collaboration of researchers who are invested in teaching and learning from each other.

What do you like about volunteering at ISRHML:
I love working with such inclusive and passionate colleagues, along with the chance to meet people from all over the world working in different aspects of human milk and lactation research.

What do you do when you are not volunteering:
Exploring cities through cuisine!

What we might be surprised to know about you:

How do you keep balance in your life:
Immersing myself in outdoor activities - literally anything from running, biking, snowboarding, swimming, and camping. 

What are you currently watching or reading:
Transcendent Kingdom by Yaa Gyasi, which is an exceptionally powerful story about a Ghanaian woman, who also happens to be a PhD student.
